Low frequency noise in duct is a challenge for the traditional passive noise control techniques. Recently, a so-called duct-membrane silencer has attracted much research attention due to its simple configuration and potential application, however, the current studies are merely limited to the cases in which just the classical boundary conditions are considered. Actually, as an important factor affecting the modal characteristics of the membrane, and the existing studies are not enough to fully understand the vibro-acoustic characteristics of such silencer with complicated boundary conditions. Motivated by this, in this paper, the structural–acoustic coupling model of duct-membrane system is established by a modified Fourier series method in combination with Rayleigh–Ritz procedure, in which the transverse elastic boundary restraints are taken into account. Energy principle is formulated for the vibro-acoustic coupling of such duct-membrane silencer to obtain the system matrix equation. Numerical results are then presented to validate the proposed model, and the influence of boundary restraining stiffness on sound attenuation performance is also studied. To the best of authors’ knowledge, this work represents the first time that the elastic boundary restraints have been considered for such duct-membrane silencing system.  相似文献

The capability of an individual polymer molecule to carry an acoustic wave along its length was investigated by a Brownian dynamics simulation using the algorithm of Ermak and McCammon and the discrete worm-like chain model. A 3 μm long DNA strand featuring 50 nm persistence length was subjected to longitudinal oscillations (2 kHz to 25 kHz) at one end, and the properties of the resulting propagating interaction were studied and shown to be wave-like. A proof of concept experiment is proposed, where an optical tweezers dumbbell experiment is conducted to induce and receive the wave, and the result is compared to that of a control experiment with the DNA strand absent. Simulations were conducted to show what one might expect to see in such an experiment.  相似文献

Grating scattering is a fundamental model in remote sensing, electromagnetics, ocean acoustics, nondestructive testing, and image reconstruction. In this work, we examine the problem of detecting the geometric properties of gratings in a two-dimensional acoustic medium where the fields are governed by the Helmholtz equation. Building upon our previous Boundary Perturbation approach (implemented with the Operator Expansions formalism) we derive a new approach which augments this with a new “smoothing” mechanism. With numerical simulations we demonstrate the enhanced stability and accuracy of our new approach which further suggests not only a rigorous proof of convergence, but also a path to generalizing the algorithm to multiple layers, three dimensions, and the full equations of linear elasticity and Maxwell’s equations.  相似文献

机载全极化SAR海面风矢量反演研究对于近海岸复杂气象条件下风矢量探测具有重要意义. 本文从极化散射理论出发,通过分析全极化SAR探测数据与海面风矢量的关系, 设计了全极化SAR海面风矢量反演方案.依据机载SAR高机动性和全极化两个探测特点, 针对VV极化探测数据,提出了基于最大似然估计的海面风矢量反演方法,并设计了飞行实验方案; 针对VH极化探测数据,提出了通过带约束最优拟合的VH极化海面散射模型反演风速, 再利用CMOD5地球物理模型函数计算风向的海面风矢量反演方法. 利用机载全极化SAR探测的台风'海葵'边缘数据,开展了海面风矢量反演实验研究. 研究结果表明,两种风矢量反演方法均可不借助辅助信息,反演复杂气象条件下的海面风矢量. 前者反演风向、风速的均方根误差分别为18.0°, 1.8 m/s, 后者反演风向、风速的均方根误差分别为9.3°, 1.2 m/s,后者的反演精度优于前者. 这是因为VH极化归一化雷达截面与风向和雷达入射角无关,仅与风速密切相关, 更适合复杂气象条件下的海面风矢量反演. 关键词: 机载全极化SAR 海面风矢量 理论研究 实验验证  相似文献

本文对语音中元音和辅音的听觉感知研究进行综述。80多年前基于无意义音节的权威实验结果表明辅音对人的听感知更为重要,由于实验者在学术上的成就和权威性,这一结论成为了常识,直到近20年前基于自然语句的实验挑战了这个结论并引发了新一轮的研究。本文主要围绕元音和辅音对语音感知的相对重要性、元音和辅音的稳态信息和边界动态信息对语音感知的影响以及相关研究的潜在应用等进行较为系统的介绍,最后给出了总结与展望。  相似文献

Taking the attenuation character of the Kelvin wake and the limitation of the traditional two-scale method into account, the practical electromagnetic (EM) scattering model of the Kelvin wake is obtained by using a facet-based model; and for a turbulent ship wake, it is produced by dealing with the wave energy loss rate due to turbulence with the width of turbulent wake closely following a moving ship. The volume scattering theory of foam or bubbles, by using the vector radiation transfer equation, is introduced to modify the traditional two-scale method, a special method for the EM scattering of a turbulent wake, which brings the scattering of ship wakes into better agreement with the real situation.  相似文献

Integrated flow modeling is the combination of a traditional flow simulator with a petrophysical model. By combining a petrophysical model with a traditional flow model, it is possible to perform calculations that improve our ability to monitor fluid movement in porous media. This paper outlines the formulation of an integrated flow model IFLO and its multi-variable, Newton–Raphson IMPES solution procedure. The benefits of integrated flow modeling and the underlying principles involved in the integration of a flow model with a petrophysical model are presented. Results from the IFLO model are used to illustrate the principles.  相似文献

Using a parabolic equation, we consider ray propagation in a waveguide with the sound speed profile that corresponds to the dynamics of a nonlinear oscillator. An analytical consideration of the dependence of the travel time on the initial conditions is presented. Using an exactly solvable model and the path integral representation of the travel time, we explain the step-like behavior of the travel time T as a function of the starting momentum p0 (related to the starting ray grazing angle χ0 by p0=tanχ0). A periodic perturbation of the waveguide along the range leads to wave and ray chaos. We explain an inhomogeneity of distribution of the chaotic ray travel times, which has obvious maxima. These maxima lead to the clustering of rays and each maximum relates to a ray identifier, i.e. to the number of ray semi-cycles along the ray path.  相似文献
